Former American President Donald Tramp addressed reporters at the airport in Washington, ahead of his flight back for New Jersey after a hearing in Washington.

Tramp is in the investigation in which he is charged with “conspiracy for the purpose of annulment of his defeat in 2020 elections,” he declared it was not guilty.

Addressing journalists before his plane, Tramp condemned the investigation.

“This is a very sad day for America, and it was also very sad to ride Washington and see dirt and decay. This is not the place I left, “he says.

This is his other visit to Washington since he left the function, the BBC reports.

Tramp then describes the charges as “persecution of a political opponent.”

“If you can’t prosecute them, chase them,” he says before he left.
